Robert James Cooper, age 73, of Springfield, passed away on December 1, 2024. Robert served his country proudly in the United States Army and later built a successful career as an engineer.
A devoted husband and father, Robert found joy in woodworking, fishing, and cheering on the Red Sox. His workshop was always full of projects, and his patience and skill were admired by all who knew him.
He leaves behind his wife of 48 years, Mary; his children David and Sarah; and five grandchildren who will miss their "Papa" dearly.
